I am reviewing the animated family film Ice Age 3 which is a very good movie. In this film they upgraded the animation again and for something different dinosaurs living under the ice in a artificially warm world were brought in for want of something different. They don’t seem to have learnt there lesson from Ice Age 2 that the most important thing about a film is having a good script. Ray Romano, John Leguizamo and Queen Latifah reprise there roles once again. Simon Pegg plays a weasel with an eye patch and Kirsten Wiig plays a mother beaver. This was the most successful film out of the franchise but that was partly because they charged viewers more and actually fewer viewers saw it. I think the first installment is the best. The 2 mammoths are have a baby. The sloth in it finds some tyrranasauras rex eggs and when they hatch the babies think he is their mother. They do discover a valley populated by dinosaurs and have to take a trip to the lava fields. Diego leaves them for a while to sharpen his hunting prowess. Scrat finds a mate called Scratte but they fight over the acorn. The adventures of Scrat are probably the best thing about the film. It is the 33rd most successful film of all time and was the 3rd most successful of 2009. I did quite enjoy this film and do recommend it.
